With spring approaching and softball season around the corner, Kimberly Brown “Coach Kim” steps in as the new head varsity coach at Churchland High School.
Coach Kim has been coaching for 26 years and aspires to continue her coaching journey for many more at CHS.
So far, she is loving her transition to Churchland.
“The transition has been pretty easy as far as the AD, coaches, and the girls; I can’t wait to get to meet all the parents,” said Brown.
Coach plans to accomplish various great things with the team at Churchland.
“My goal is to go at least two or three rounds in regionals, and hopefully go to states,” she said,
Coach Kim also wants to watch her players grow and get accepted into colleges.
“I love watching my players grow into the young women they’re meant to be and helping them get accepted into colleges even though I’m not their travel coach,” she said.
Overall, Coach Kim has already shown her love for coaching and the players, and hopes to do big things at CHS.
